Swings and roundabouts

It is somewhat paradoxical that while Israel becomes less of a focus for the Arab world,  as they battle out their Sunni-Shiite rivalries,  the anti-Israel fervour of the leftists and other sundry BDS’ers becomes more strident.

Barry Rubin summarises it nicely in his article here where he talks about the demise of the anti-Israel card… As he writes “Bashing Israel has become fashionable in many Western circles, but in the Middle East it doesn’t work anymore.”

In a moment of realistism, the anti-Israel brigade in the West must gnash their teeth at the failure of the Arabs to support them.  Poor things on their roundabout!
