Infidels 25+ years on

Twenty five + years on from the October 1983 Bob Dylan’s release of Infidels to critical acclaim,  Israel continues to be placed under intense political pressure, associated with the discriminatory 3D’s – double standards, delegitimation and demonization. Yet Israel continues to thrive.

“Neighbourhood Bully”, a track from the album, is widely seen as a response to the hypocrisy of the critics of Israel, although in a Rolling Stone interview at the time, Dylan demurred at the thought of being considered a political writer.– 25+ years on, the song continues to make sense;  Here are the lyrics.
