Inconvenient facts

With the politics gearing up a notch, with PM Netanyahu revealing his key points for a settlement, and Pres Obama set to give his thoughts on the Middle East,  it is timely to look at an article from Jennifer Rubin – on some inconvenient facts.  She refers to a George Will column “skip the lecture on Israel’s “risks for peace”.

I liked the statement “Palestine has a seemingly limitless capacity for eliciting nonsense from afar”.

Netanyahu’s key principles for Israel as it seeks peace: recognition of Israel as the Jewish national home, a demilitarized Palestine that does not control the Jordan Valley, a solution outside Israel to the refugee problem, retention of settlement blocs, a united Jerusalem and a declaration of an end to the conflict with no further demands.
