Elton John has the right stuff

“Shalom, we are so happy to be back here! Ain’t nothing gonna stop us from coming, baby,” spouted John with a pumped fist in the air. “Musicians spread love and peace, and bring people together. That’s what we do. We don’t cherry-pick our conscience.”

So said Elton John, as he began his concert in Tel Aviv.

  1. “Right stuff”? For what, opportunistic moral relativism?

I like Elton John’s music, but he is, sadly, just another typically Leftist, mindless entertainer (e.g. dopey statements like “Jesus was gay”) – and obviously does “cherry pick his conscience” (or, more accurately, his publicity-profit opportunities). Such as taking a million US$ to play at conservative radio host (vocal anti gay marriage) Rush Limbaugh’s 4th wedding, or disparaging and refusing to meet pro-Israel conservative Sarah Palin at the Time awards.

But isn’t it ironic that he chose to perform in Israel, when just last month….
“Sir Elton John showed his support for grieving actress VANESSA REDGRAVE at a concert in New York on Thursday night, May 13 – dedicating a song to the star after she lost her daughter, brother and sister in a matter of months. The 73 year old has faced a series of personal tragedies in recent months – her daughter Natasha Richardson died last year following a skiing accident, and the grief was compounded by the tragic deaths of her brother Corin, who passed away in April, and her sister Lynn, who lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this month…. http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/w0003011.html

“Before launching into a rendition of ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues’, Sir Elton told the crowd, ‘She’s had a hell of a year. Vanessa, this is to you with love from me and all the artists on the stage.’

Aaw, poor thing, wonder if he (or she) ever think about all the Israeli deaths her vocal PLO support, anti-Israel hatred, propaganda ‘documentaries’ and terrorist donations have caused and enabled since the 70s – and still doing it, posting bail for Al-Qaida creeps now!

The song should have been, “I Guess That’s Why They Call it KARMA”
