Complicated manoevering

It’s a understatement to say that there is instability throughout the middle east, with direct ramifications for Israel.

Here are a few examples:

Turkey threatening to move into a part of Syria, as part of NATO, while Syria is supposedly threatening to retaliate by attacking Tel Aviv.

The Palestinians, unnerved by the holding back of financial aid by the US Congress, which Obama is trying to restore.

Syrian tanks making small raids into Lebanon, where Hezbollah has been increasingly criticised for siding with Assad.

Egypt starting to look like an economic basket case that will soon go broke.

It would be good to think that there are some smart and sensible people at the helm.
